About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment
- Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment
- Maintain a service van and its inventory
- Process paperwork after completion of each job
Requirements
What you’ll need- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks
- Technical school graduate preferred
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Welding experience
- Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills
- Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools
