About the role
- Primary resource to investigate Dealer inquiries related to warranty and customer issues.
- Evaluate information to provide solutions that behold the best interest of the customer and company.
- Support company Retail Network to best serve customers by adhering to company policy and procedures.
- Communicate with internal departments to provide solutions for customers.
- Research and respond to order related requests from the Retail Network regarding truck parts.
- Communicate with Distribution Center and Logistics to inform customer of shipping dates, order status, order expediting, and shipping issue resolution.
- Work on special field/market research projects, including parts marketing and development per direction from department managers.
- Train and educate branches in software use and updates, as well as general education of the warranty process, parts ordering, and distribution process.
- May assist District Managers in efforts to discover business opportunities by conducting market research and documenting results.
- Assist District Managers and Fleet Account Managers with providing customer service for their accounts, including warranty, parts support, product issues, and yearly reports.
- May provide feedback to management on issues related to service inquiries to improve the product.
- Travel with District Managers to Dealer Network locations to provide corporate service support. Visits may include discussing product issues and opportunities, and marketing/selling of Parts Marketing Programs. May also visit major accounts with assigned Fleet Account Managers to assist with customer issues.
Requirements
- 2-4 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Occasional travel (0-5%)
- Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, or Engineering or six years in job-related experience (preferred)
- Four years Customer Service experience (preferred)
- Intermediate computer skills (preferred).
