About the role

  • Troubleshoot localization engineering issues
  • Develop and execute automation strategies
  • Evaluate existing automation processes
  • Provide regular updates to team members and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
  • Provide technical leadership to localization team
  • Improve accuracy and performance of Machine Translation models
  • Process and curate large multilingual datasets
  • Manage MT models using neural networks
  • Evaluate model performance
  • Integrate automation solutions with localization tools
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures
  • Test and implement new localization projects
  • Stay up to date on the latest technological updates
  • Develop and enhance testing frameworks and tools.
  • Develop and maintain technical instructions, guides, and best practices.
  • Develop and upkeep Localization Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reports.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or Engineering)
  • Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
  • Experience in designing and implementing automation solutions for localization process
  • Experience with at least one modern programming or scripting language (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Python, Rust, Pearl, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Machine Translation technologies and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of content development cycle with different CMSs and TMSs.
