About the role

  • Design, implement, and maintain Elastic Stack and ECE clusters in secure, air-gapped environments.
  • Develop automation pipelines using Ansible and AWX for deployment, configuration, and maintenance of core infrastructure components.
  • Manage Kubernetes-based installations of AWX, including integration with LDAP and TLS.
  • Architect and optimize Elasticsearch clusters, templates, Logstash pipelines, Beats configurations, and dashboards.
  • Manage cluster security, user/role access, and system integrations (LDAP, SMTP, TLS).
  • Troubleshoot and provide support for Elastic Stack components in production environments.
  • Administer Linux systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE) including patching, configuration, and container virtualization tools.
  • Develop automation scripts in Python to streamline system operations.
  • Configure networking, logical volumes, and security rules (iptables).
  • Support the transition from CentOS 7 to Ubuntu and SUSE Linux distributions.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve workflows through automation and monitoring.
  • Drive best practices for infrastructure as code, observability, and secure system administration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong Linux expertise (CentOS 7, Ubuntu, SUSE).
  • Hands-on experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and ECE on-prem.
  • Proficiency with Ansible and AWX for automation.
  • Experience with Kubernetes-based deployments.
  • Knowledge of Git workflows and version control.
  • Understanding of enterprise integrations (LDAP, TLS, SMTP).
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and containerization tools.
  • Scripting skills in Python for automation and tooling.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to support production systems in secure environments.
