About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accurately code and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online
- Deliver weekly bookkeeping updates for 20–30 clients
- Maintain real-time accuracy (clients frequently review books live)
- Support month-end close using internal workflows
- Perform self-review of financials before supervisor review
- Work across full-cycle bookkeeping (not limited to AP/AR)
- Communicate with clients to resolve uncategorized transactions and questions
- Over time, assist with or present financial information to clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–4 years of relevant experience in an equivalent or related field
- Strong accounting or bookkeeping fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
- Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping (not limited to AP or AR)
- Familiarity with tools such as Karbon, Bill.com , Uncat , and payroll platforms ( Paychex, ADP, Gusto ) is a strong plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident, clear written and verbal communication skills (client-facing)
- Proactivity, clear communication, and a consistently positive attitude are mandatory for this role
