About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently manage a robust caseload from intake through trial or resolution
Conduct and defend depositions of experts, key witnesses, corporate representatives, and plaintiffs
Draft and argue dispositive motions, including MSJs and demurrers, and substantive pre-trial motions
Serve as first- or second-chair in trials, arbitrations, and administrative hearings
Direct client management, including risk evaluation and strategy development with institutional clients and insurers
Manage complex litigation across public entity and municipal defense, employment litigation, general and professional liability, medical malpractice and elder care, and/or appellate and business litigation
Take ownership of complex files and step directly into trial responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
4–10 years of substantive civil litigation experience; defense background preferred
Active license in good standing with the Nevada State Bar
Proven track record taking and defending expert depositions and handling court appearances independently
Strong legal analysis, legal writing, and oral advocacy skills
Demonstrated interest or background in civil litigation, insurance defense, or public entity work
Self-motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative, trial-focused environment
