About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, corporate resolutions, and governance documents
- Handle complex real estate instruments, commercial leases, buy-sell agreements, and deeds
- Lead entity formations, dissolutions, and asset purchase transactions
- Run due diligence on corporate and real estate deals, including asset purchase agreements and promissory notes
- Advise clients directly on risk mitigation, compliance, and deal structure
- Partner with managing partners on the firm's most sophisticated transactional matters
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver a consistently high standard of client service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- 5+ years handling corporate, real estate, or trust and estate transactions
- Sharp command of California contract and business law
- A drafting and negotiation style that clients trust and opposing counsel respect
- The composure to manage multiple closings under deadline pressure
- A collaborative streak; you want to help build something with a team, not just clock in
