About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all phases of litigation, from initial analysis through trial and resolution
- Develop comprehensive case strategies and oversee their execution
- Conduct and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and handle court appearances
- Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial documents
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel
- Lead settlement negotiations and participate in mediations and arbitrations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California
- 10+ years of experience in civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury, insurance defense, or business litigation
- Extensive trial experience, including first-chair jury trials, preferred
- Strong legal analysis and writing skills
- A high level of organization, independence, and attention to detail
