About the role
- Department Insight: Deep expertise in structuring and implementing joint ventures, syndications, and other funding vehicles for a wide range of clients, including developers, sponsors, REITs, family offices, and institutional investors.
- The firm's work spans diverse asset types such as multifamily, industrial, resorts, mixed-use, affordable housing, and more—covering projects at every stage, from pre-entitlement to core-plus.
- Attorneys here gain hands-on experience with complex transactions, innovative deal structures, and high-value projects, all within a fully integrated, collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- 5 - 7 years of experience with real estate joint ventures (including preferred equity joint ventures), and securities offerings related to joint ventures and other syndications
- Strong background in drafting LLC agreements, LP agreements, and related transactional documents.
- Significant experience in fund formation, including real estate, venture capital, and/or private equity funds.
- Hands-on experience with M&A transactions, including both asset purchases and equity acquisitions.
- Familiarity with securities transactions and regulatory matters—such as compliance with the Investment Company Act, Investment Advisers Act, and Securities Act—is a plus, though not required.
- Outstanding academic credentials, sharp analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills; prior direct client-facing experience is highly valued.
