About the role
- Support attorneys through all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial
- Maintain and manage litigation calendars, including court deadlines and appointments
- Prepare, file, and serve legal documents, including e-filing in state and federal courts
- Assist with discovery processes, including drafting, organizing, and responding to discovery requests
- Coordinate and manage trial preparation, including compiling exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders
- Track billable time accurately and consistently in compliance with firm procedures
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed (filing, scanning, document formatting)
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a defense setting
- Experience in maintaining and managing litigation calendars, including court deadlines and appointments
- Prepare, file, and serve legal documents, including e-filing in state and federal courts
- Assist with discovery processes, including drafting, organizing, and responding to discovery requests
- Experience with tracking and recording billable hours preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in long-term growth within a litigation-focused practice
- Background in Real Estate or Business Law is a plus, but not required
