💰 $150,000 - $185,000 per year
About the role
- Independently manage litigation in both California state and federal courts
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
- Conduct and oversee discovery, including depositions of fact and expert witnesses
- Handle mediations, settlement negotiations, and client strategy sessions
- Participate in Joint Case Management Conferences and other aspects of JCCP/MDL proceedings
- Coordinate with co-counsel, experts, and internal teams to develop and execute case strategy
Requirements
- A Juris Doctorate and an active California Bar license
- 3–7 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in mass torts, product liability, or complex class actions
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Familiarity with judge-specific preferences and court procedures in Los Angeles and surrounding jurisdictions
- Experience handling multiple complex cases and working in a collaborative team setting
- A proactive, resourceful mindset and desire to make an impact in plaintiff-side litigation
- Support trial preparation and attend trial as needed
