About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver strong customer experience for both sites and patients by providing remote study support under the delegation of a PI.
  • Assess nutritional needs, promote healthy physical activity, and provide personalized Lifestyle Counseling.
  • Timely communications with internal teams, investigators, review boards, and study subjects.
  • Perform protocol mandated visits and provide Lifestyle Management Counseling.
  • Schedule study visits with study participants, within protocol window.
  • Perform patient diet, nutritional education, including the relationship between good eating habits.
  • Prepare documentation ahead of appointment; ensure study participant files and source documents are ready for their visit.
  • Attend remote, video assisted protocol visits.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2 years of community nutrition experience.
  • Minimum 1 year Clinical Research experience.
  • Louisiana preferred Registered and/or Licensed Dietician required, from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Accreditation Council for Education and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • BS in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related subject / MS preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of medical and research terminology
  • Excellent working knowledge of federal regulations, good clinical practices (GCP)
  • Strong computer skills with demonstrated abilities using clinical trials database, IVR systems, electronic data capture, MS word and excel.
  • Critical thinker and problem solver
  • Spanish bilingual preferred
