About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver strong customer experience for both sites and patients by providing remote study support under the delegation of a PI.
- Assess nutritional needs, promote healthy physical activity, and provide personalized Lifestyle Counseling.
- Timely communications with internal teams, investigators, review boards, and study subjects.
- Perform protocol mandated visits and provide Lifestyle Management Counseling.
- Schedule study visits with study participants, within protocol window.
- Perform patient diet, nutritional education, including the relationship between good eating habits.
- Prepare documentation ahead of appointment; ensure study participant files and source documents are ready for their visit.
- Attend remote, video assisted protocol visits.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 years of community nutrition experience.
- Minimum 1 year Clinical Research experience.
- Louisiana preferred Registered and/or Licensed Dietician required, from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Accreditation Council for Education and Dietetics (ACEND).
- BS in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related subject / MS preferred
- Excellent working knowledge of medical and research terminology
- Excellent working knowledge of federal regulations, good clinical practices (GCP)
- Strong computer skills with demonstrated abilities using clinical trials database, IVR systems, electronic data capture, MS word and excel.
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Spanish bilingual preferred
