About the role

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Take and record vital signs, patient history, and other medical information.
  • Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records.
  • Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimens appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in healthcare delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or diploma from a Medical Assistant program is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, etc.).
  • Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
