About the role

  • As a critical member of the DTD leadership team and in the capacity of a program/product/strategy lead, this Senior Vice President will expand the prior ‘chief of staff’ function provided by this role.
  • Further, the broad mandate it maintains includes responsibility for creating and managing the planning and management framework for staffing and non-labor spend (full-time and contract staff);
  • supporting the annual DTD budget process;
  • and defining and executing against annual and multi-year strategic initiatives in support of all business priorities.
  • In addition, this leader will lead and own projects/programs from the planning to the delivery elements – utilizing resources across DTD, along with aligning strategic partnerships with stakeholders and business leaders across CardWorks.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of innovative IT/Systems Management experience at a banking, fintech or other financial institution;
  • At least ten years in a senior leadership role.
  • Progressive experience in Information Technology, including framing and driving strategy, managing IT Project planning, delivery and execution -- with a reputation for strong analytic decision making and a strong strategic mind-set
  • Expertise in cardholder system of record, with preference for First Data experience.
  • Experience working with regulators and effectively responding to scrutiny of the business from external parties, internal audit, and compliance.
  • Ability to develop new execution processes and streamline existing processes to deliver flawless execution of intent.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement meaningful operational improvements without significant disruption to existing day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Background in developing monitoring and reporting that enables efficient tracking and allocation of resources as measurement of effectiveness related to process automation and controls.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/IT or business, required.
  • Master’s degree in technology systems, IT, systems management, engineering or related, a plus.
  • Deep software development and business analysis experience preferred, with successful demonstration of implementation.
  • Familiarity with Call Center operations and tools associated with credit card servicing, underwriting and financial services.
  • Change Management expertise, ideally within both public and private corporate settings.
