About the role
- Be a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across performance, conduct, policies and employee relations
- Own the operational delivery of performance cycles, goal setting and development planning
- Partner with hiring managers to deliver end-to-end recruitment and seamless onboarding
- Draft and manage people communications including contracts, variations, policy updates and letters
- Maintain strong HR governance, records and systems (BambooHR experience highly regarded)
- Use people data and reporting to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
- Contribute to engagement, recognition and culture initiatives that genuinely land
- Support change initiatives and continuous improvement projects as the business grows
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a Recruitment/People & Culture coordinator or similar generalist role
- Has supported the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and performance management
- Is confident working autonomously and following work through end-to-end
- Communicates clearly, professionally and with sound judgement
- Is organised, accountable and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Brings a practical, people-first mindset - you balance empathy with commercial reality
- Enjoys working in fast-moving, evolving environments
- Experience in a scale-up, tech or fast-growth business will be highly regarded.
