About the role

  • Be a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across performance, conduct, policies and employee relations
  • Own the operational delivery of performance cycles, goal setting and development planning
  • Partner with hiring managers to deliver end-to-end recruitment and seamless onboarding
  • Draft and manage people communications including contracts, variations, policy updates and letters
  • Maintain strong HR governance, records and systems (BambooHR experience highly regarded)
  • Use people data and reporting to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to engagement, recognition and culture initiatives that genuinely land
  • Support change initiatives and continuous improvement projects as the business grows

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Recruitment/People & Culture coordinator or similar generalist role
  • Has supported the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and performance management
  • Is confident working autonomously and following work through end-to-end
  • Communicates clearly, professionally and with sound judgement
  • Is organised, accountable and comfortable managing competing priorities
  • Brings a practical, people-first mindset - you balance empathy with commercial reality
  • Enjoys working in fast-moving, evolving environments
  • Experience in a scale-up, tech or fast-growth business will be highly regarded.
