About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collect, prepare, and analyze risk exposure data for property and casualty insurance policies
  • Manage property and medical malpractice programs with broker and internal contacts
  • Create scheduled and ad hoc loss experience reports using the Risk Management Information System
  • Process invoices, manage vendor payment profiles, and update monthly cash flow and accrual forecasts
  • Support captive insurance administration, including premium allocations and claim reimbursements
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and improve written procedure documentation
  • Complete risk management projects, quarterly and annual audits, acquired-company integrations, insurance premium audits, and special projects
  • Provide backup support for Global Risk Management team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, preferred
  • 1–3+ years of Risk Management, underwriting, brokerage, or related experience; medical office insurance experience preferred
  • ARM, CPCU, or other related risk/insurance designation preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning and organization skills with attention to detail while balancing multiple deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Expert or Advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with occasional in-office meetings
  • Risk Management Information System experience preferred
