  • Role: end-to-end software engineering for life-saving 911 platform; directly impact emergency communications.
  • Responsibilities: develop an emergency 911 ecosystem; design, develop and maintain highly resilient, fault-tolerant, self-healing services; build modern complex Web Apps and UI components.
  • Responsibilities: develop solutions across global regions to enable quick, effective contact with emergency services; open system to business partners; explore applying AI to 911 communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Backend Development with a focus on Microservices (Scala a plus).
  • Experience with cloud-based development, especially AWS.
  • Familiarity with modern Frontend Development practices (Angular 13+ a big advantage).
  • Prior experience building sophisticated web applications.
  • Skilled in creating RESTful APIs.
  • Proactive "Can-do" attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong background designing and implementing microservices-based solutions for cloud environments.
  • Experience with NoSQL (e.g., AWS DynamoDB) and SQL databases.
  • Experience with WebSockets (added advantage).
