About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead regional operations, business performance, pipeline growth, partner activity, and customer delivery across the Middle East.
- Build scalable processes, operating rhythms, and a high-performing regional ecosystem focused on safety, quality, accountability, and customer success.
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and broader GCC.
- Identify, negotiate, and close opportunities with concrete producers, developers, contractors, government stakeholders, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Monitor customer needs, competitive dynamics, policy developments, and embodied carbon requirements to guide growth strategy.
- Oversee the customer lifecycle from planning and deployment through service, optimization, retention, and expansion.
- Coordinate with global support and shared services teams, including Engineering, Product Development, Finance, and legal, to ensure strong execution and customer experience.
- Act as a trusted technical and commercial advisor to customers, consultants, specifiers, industry bodies, and government stakeholders.
- Support testing, validation, certification, standards engagement, and commercially relevant technical messaging.
- Represent CarbonCure in regional low-carbon concrete, carbon utilization, and sustainability discussions and forums.
- Build the long-term regional operating model, including staffing, vendors, distributors, contractors, and strategic partners.
- Assess market opportunities, risks, CO₂ supply dynamics, regulatory requirements, and operational readiness across the Middle East.
- Provide market intelligence, forecasting, reporting, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10–15+ years of experience in concrete, cement, construction materials, admixtures, industrial gases, sustainability, or related construction technology.
- Previous commercial leadership experience across GCC markets, specifically the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman.
- Strong relationships with regional producers, contractors, infrastructure stakeholders, or construction ecosystem partners.
- Technical understanding of ready-mix concrete, batching plants, admixtures, cementitious materials, or related technologies.
- Experience with decarbonization, embodied carbon, carbon utilization, CCUS, ESG, or industrial gas supply chains.
- Ability to manage complex commercial and operational priorities in relationship-driven markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field preferred; MBA an asset.
- Fluent in English and Arabic; additional languages are an asset.
