About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead design for CaptivateIQ's Product Platform and its shared customer experiences
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of product designers, including senior individual contributors
  • Set the design strategy and quality bar in partnership with Product and Engineering
  • Personally shape high-leverage or ambiguous problems as a player-coach
  • Maintain interaction and visual design quality across complex product surfaces
  • Identify cross-product implications and opportunities for shared patterns
  • Represent Design in roadmap, prioritization, and architectural conversations
  • Build alignment and drive decisions across teams through influence
  • Use research, product data, and customer signals to inform strategy and validate decisions
  • Drive adoption and evolution of the Quotient design system
  • Champion AI-native product thinking and AI-assisted design practices
  • Report to the Head of Design and partner with Product and Engineering leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of product design experience, including complex, systems-level, platform, or infrastructure-adjacent products
  • 3+ years managing product designers, including senior-level ICs
  • Track record of growing designers into greater scope and responsibility
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong product craft, systems thinking, and simplification of technically complex experiences
  • Strong visual and interaction design judgment
  • Experience setting design strategy across interconnected product areas
  • Experience building, evolving, or governing a design system
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influence on Product and Engineering decisions
  • Technical fluency with architecture, data models, and platform constraints
  • Fluency in how AI is changing product experiences and design practice
  • Experience designing complex B2B SaaS or enterprise products is a strong plus
