About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the full-cycle accounting for organizational projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking actual expenditures against project plans.
  • Partner directly with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and the CFMO team to provide financial oversight, guidance, and strategic analysis for Pharmacy Automation related projects.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, guidance, and professional development support to a more junior staff accountant within the finance team.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition across complex project lines in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., percentage-of-completion method) and internal Capsa Healthcare policies.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly project performance reports, highlighting budget variances, profitability trends, and risks to support executive decision-making.
  • Develop, refine, and modernize project accounting processes to increase accuracy and scalability, including optimizing data flow within internal ERP and HRIS environments.
  • Ensure all project-related financial transactions are meticulously documented, compliant with corporate policies, and fully prepared for internal and external audits.
  • Cooperatively provides hands-on job function training to co-workers as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in project accounting or corporate finance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and demonstrated experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms).
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience collaborating across functional departments such as Commercial and Operations teams.
