About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define the long-term technology vision, aligning business strategy, KPIs, and the technology roadmap
Ensure secure, resilient, and scalable architecture and infrastructure, leading critical decisions regarding the transactional core and financial flows
Ensure information security and regulatory compliance, collaborating with regulators, auditors, and strategic partners
Ensure high platform availability through continuous monitoring and effective incident management
Act as a strategic partner to Product, ensuring technical feasibility and driving innovation in payments and AI applied to the business
Design and evolve the technology organization, developing strong leadership and high-performance teams
Manage the technology budget and strategic vendors, ensuring financial efficiency and operational sustainability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in technology leadership roles at the executive level (CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Technology)
Experience in payments companies, fintechs, digital banks, or regulated financial institutions
Track record of scaling technology organizations and high-volume transactional platforms
Experience operating in regulated environments, including engagement with regulators and auditors
Strong experience in distributed systems architecture and large-scale transactional platforms
Deep knowledge of information security and compliance requirements in the financial sector
Experience with cloud environments and scalable infrastructure strategies
Structured understanding of data science and the application of AI models
Familiarity with the payments ecosystem (Pix, card networks, open finance, and financial integrations)
