About the role

  • Define the long-term technology vision, aligning business strategy, KPIs, and the technology roadmap
  • Ensure secure, resilient, and scalable architecture and infrastructure, leading critical decisions regarding the transactional core and financial flows
  • Ensure information security and regulatory compliance, collaborating with regulators, auditors, and strategic partners
  • Ensure high platform availability through continuous monitoring and effective incident management
  • Act as a strategic partner to Product, ensuring technical feasibility and driving innovation in payments and AI applied to the business
  • Design and evolve the technology organization, developing strong leadership and high-performance teams
  • Manage the technology budget and strategic vendors, ensuring financial efficiency and operational sustainability

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technology leadership roles at the executive level (CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Technology)
  • Experience in payments companies, fintechs, digital banks, or regulated financial institutions
  • Track record of scaling technology organizations and high-volume transactional platforms
  • Experience operating in regulated environments, including engagement with regulators and auditors
  • Strong experience in distributed systems architecture and large-scale transactional platforms
  • Deep knowledge of information security and compliance requirements in the financial sector
  • Experience with cloud environments and scalable infrastructure strategies
  • Structured understanding of data science and the application of AI models
  • Familiarity with the payments ecosystem (Pix, card networks, open finance, and financial integrations)
