Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the first responder to new scenes, monitor scanners, source tips, social media and assignment desk communications.
Deliver engaging live shots on all WRAL platforms.
Ensure accurate reporting and clarity under deadline pressure.
Work with staff photographers to turn compelling and engaging coverage.
Cultivate sources, find new information and approach on-scene interview opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience in television news is required.
Willingness to work all shifts, including overnights and weekends.
A link to your work example reel must be included.
Four-year college degree (Preferred Qualification).
Proficiency with Edius and live transmission (Preferred Qualification).
