About the role

  • Overseeing operations for markets including North/South Carolina and Virginia
  • Driving & increasing tour flow by assisting with all external marketing activities at designated locations
  • Assisting in advancing partnerships in professional sports (NBA, MLB, NHL) and event venues
  • Supervising FPS Area and Event Managers and marketing support teams
  • Developing and implementing strategic marketing and sales plans
  • Achieving satisfactory profit/loss ratios and market share
  • Ensuring effective control of marketing results and taking corrective actions
  • Maintaining relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners
  • Guiding preparation of marketing activity reports for executive management
  • Maintaining a consistent corporate image
  • Guiding staffing, training, and performance evaluations
  • Reviewing and analyzing marketing performances against programs, quotas, and plans

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions
  • Flexibility to travel extensively within the region
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn custom marketing software
  • Ability to read and understand annual budgets
