About the role
- Overseeing operations for markets including North/South Carolina and Virginia
- Driving & increasing tour flow by assisting with all external marketing activities at designated locations
- Assisting in advancing partnerships in professional sports (NBA, MLB, NHL) and event venues
- Supervising FPS Area and Event Managers and marketing support teams
- Developing and implementing strategic marketing and sales plans
- Achieving satisfactory profit/loss ratios and market share
- Ensuring effective control of marketing results and taking corrective actions
- Maintaining relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners
- Guiding preparation of marketing activity reports for executive management
- Maintaining a consistent corporate image
- Guiding staffing, training, and performance evaluations
- Reviewing and analyzing marketing performances against programs, quotas, and plans
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the hospitality industry
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions
- Flexibility to travel extensively within the region
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn custom marketing software
- Ability to read and understand annual budgets
- Excellent customer service skills
