Key responsibilities & impact

Lead large, complex programs by providing strategic direction and tactical guidance to project teams, peers, and direct reports
Design, develop, and manage comprehensive project plans, adapting strategies to evolving business requirements
Ensure rigorous project documentation and governance to mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and maintain on-time delivery
Leverage advanced problem-solving and influencing skills to align stakeholder goals with strategic intent
Partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders to provide thought leadership, streamline communication, and drive successful deliverables
Build collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries to secure buy-in and achieve shared commitments
Oversee end-to-end program management for critical initiatives within the Experience Platforms Top of House team
Own and drive stakeholder engagement, timeline risk and dependency management, communication flows, strategic insights for senior leadership, and core project operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent military experience
At least 7 years of project management experience
Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position
Master’s Degree preferred
10+ years of Project Management experience preferred
3+ years of People Management experience preferred
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification preferred
Experience with software programs or projects preferred
