About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish and automate software reclamation using SAMPro and other tools
Identify software non-use, communicate reclamation actions, revoke entitlements, and remove software installations
Perform routine compliance reconciliations to establish Effective License Positions (ELPs) for assigned software vendors
Analyze entitlement data against active installations to identify compliance gaps, financial exposure, or over-licensing
Compile technical data, reports, and documentation to support lead SAMs during formal vendor software audits
Normalize and match raw software discovery data from Jamf, SCCM, Intune, and Aternity
Resolve discrepancies between discovery feeds, procurement repositories, and user directories
Maintain software asset record integrity
Update software catalog entries, publisher names, and SKUs in the SAM repository
Author and maintain SOPs, process maps, operational guidelines, and end-to-end workflows for software requests, reclamation cycles, and license allocation

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 6 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory)
At least 4 years of experience with AWS
At least 2 years of team leadership experience
4+ years of direct, operational experience performing software asset management, license reconciliation, or data normalization within a structured SAM team (preferred)
5+ years of experience with ServiceNow (preferred)
2+ years of experience in the Service Now SAMPro module (preferred)
