About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own budgeting and forecasting for assigned areas
- Deliver financial management analyses to support financial and business objectives
- Contribute to and deliver presentations communicating results, outcomes, and actions to senior audiences
- Provide transparency on costs and drivers and communicate risks and opportunities to budget targets
- Address ad-hoc requests and special projects, including strategic long-term planning and product roadmaps
- Manage and prioritize workload independently
- Develop traditional FP&A and technical skills
- Manage P&L performance and provide Card Leadership with financial insights to influence strategy and drive business outcomes
- Build trusted relationships, including with senior leaders
- Mentor junior associates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 3 years experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination
- Ability to formulate and articulate analytics and insights as a compelling financial story
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
- Preferred: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- Preferred: At least 4 years experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination
- Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or a combination
