About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own budgeting and forecasting for assigned areas
  • Deliver financial management analyses to support financial and business objectives
  • Contribute to and deliver presentations communicating results, outcomes, and actions to senior audiences
  • Provide transparency on costs and drivers and communicate risks and opportunities to budget targets
  • Address ad-hoc requests and special projects, including strategic long-term planning and product roadmaps
  • Manage and prioritize workload independently
  • Develop traditional FP&A and technical skills
  • Manage P&L performance and provide Card Leadership with financial insights to influence strategy and drive business outcomes
  • Build trusted relationships, including with senior leaders
  • Mentor junior associates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination
  • Ability to formulate and articulate analytics and insights as a compelling financial story
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
  • Preferred: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • Preferred: At least 4 years experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination
  • Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or a combination
