About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver results across a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives and translate opportunities into live solutions
  • Design, document, and maintain enterprise-wide Google Workspace and Microsoft M365 collaboration platforms
  • Translate business objectives and risk tolerance into platform configurations, security practices, and data handling policies
  • Partner with the Access team on IAM strategy, including MFA, SSO integration, and context-aware access policies
  • Architect, implement, and manage Google Drive content management to prevent unauthorized sharing of sensitive data
  • Execute lifecycle governance for third-party applications accessing Workspace data, including risk assessments and security audits
  • Ensure Google Workspace meets regulatory and legal requirements through configuration, operation, and auditing
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and HR on Google Vault retention, eDiscovery, and legal holds
  • Identify automation opportunities and partner with software engineering teams
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and answer user questions
  • Monitor platform performance, security, and data integrity, proactively addressing problems
  • Implement Google Workspace updates and improvements
  • Develop documentation and training materials
  • Remediate vulnerabilities and manage platform operational aspects
  • Monitor support Slack channels and address customer issues
  • Align platforms with architecture standards
  • Enhance platform user experience and ensure software works seamlessly on the platforms
  • Work with product owners on application capabilities and testing scenarios
  • Improve platform engineering practices, identify risks, and execute mitigation strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 6 years of cumulative experience in enterprise information technology, systems engineering, or cybersecurity roles
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience architecting, administering, and securing a large-scale (1,000+ user) Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 collaboration environment
  • Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, or managing services across SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS cloud environments
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or an MBA with a technology focus, or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
  • Current Google Certified – Associate Google Workspace Administrator certification (strongly preferred)
  • Expertise with the content and objectives of the retired Professional Google Workspace Administrator certification (highly valued)
  • 6+ years administering Google Workspace or a similar enterprise productivity suite, or Microsoft M365 or a similar enterprise productivity suite
  • Experience with Google GenAI/LLM platforms and other agentic or SaaS AI capabilities
  • 6+ years using build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory
  • 4+ years of scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash
  • 4+ years working with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial or technology industry
