About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage accounting, reporting, and analytics activities and participate in special projects
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting-related activities
Support and prepare external SEC and regulatory reports, including documenting and presenting results to management and senior leadership
Ensure accounting and reporting practices and documentation comply with corporate policies and procedures
Perform periodic financial-performance analysis and reporting for stakeholders and management within deadlines
Respond to requests from other departments and conduct research
Participate in technology and data transformation, process improvement, and business initiatives
Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve issues and remain informed about process or product changes
Provide ad hoc analysis to management
Support audit, risk, and compliance groups when necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 1 year of experience in accounting, external financial reporting, audit, finance, or a combination
At least 1 year of experience with Google Office or Microsoft Office products, or a combination
Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in accounting, external financial reporting, audit, or finance, or a combination
Preferred: 1+ year of experience in Tableau, Python, or SQL, or a combination
