About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the post-acquisition customer experience within Partnerships, enabling new cardholders to spend immediately
- Work with business, design, technology, product, marketing, and external partner stakeholders to develop and launch customer-facing experiences
- Design, build, and launch new capabilities impacting customers across US Card
- Leverage experimentation to improve existing in-market solutions
- Collaborate with technology teams to build acceptance criteria and identify research needs for feature design
- Break down business epics into features and user stories, driving teams toward minimal viable products for valid feature tests
- Use hypothesis-driven data assessment to ensure products and features meet business needs
- Own and prioritize feature development roadmaps while following risk-management processes and procedures
- Conduct research and develop features using new and evolving technology in an agile environment
- Collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists, and subject-matter experts to build solutions
- Deliver product platforms by understanding technology trends and architecture strategy
- Participate in horizontal forums and build relationships across technology, design, internal stakeholder, and partner teams
- Articulate product roadmaps, communicate business value to stakeholders, and elevate team results
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- At least 1 year of product management experience, or at least 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
- 1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer-facing digital products
- 1+ years of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences
- 1+ years working with cross-functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process
- Comfortable with ambiguity and eager to learn
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to varied audiences
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize work, and overcome roadblocks
- Customer-focused approach and ability to understand external or internal customer needs
- Ability to learn new technologies and ask for help when needed
- Ability to work with diverse teams and establish long-lasting relationships
