About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive the development and execution of the International Risk Strategy across critical strategic areas such as Technical Architecture, Data, and Governance
  • Translate policies, regulations, and risk appetites into actionable requirements for technology and cybersecurity partners
  • Enable international operations by identifying cross-cutting dependencies and removing obstacles to secure and efficient business scaling
  • Establish and maintain compliant-by-design rules for connectivity/access, international data taxonomies, and hardware/software lifecycle management
  • Synthesize complex information into executive reporting and translate technical details into strategic goals
  • Design and monitor performance metrics to generate actionable insights and anticipate portfolio roadblocks
  • Partner with ES Risk leads to implement workflow automation and build digital structures using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GenAI

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 3 years of experience in Risk Management, Network Engineering, Data Governance, Project Management, or a combination
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients
  • At least 2 years of experience with reporting, metrics, data visualization, or technical documentation
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience preferred
  • Preferred experience in risk management or technology risk management, project/program/portfolio management, and financial services
  • Experience with Security Architecture standards and frameworks such as NIST and ISO
  • Experience with data privacy regulations such as GDPR or data taxonomy classification and standards
  • Experience in international market expansion, hardware/software lifecycle management, or import/export risk management
  • Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
  • Cyber, Technology, or Risk certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, PMP, CRCM, CIPP, or ABA Risk Management Certification
