About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop iOS client code solutions aligned with product strategy and engineering best practices
- Partner with software engineers, UX/UI, quality engineers, and product owners/analysts to deliver high-performing customer experiences
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure team commitments are delivered on time and at high quality
- Advocate for the mobile platform through internal and external developer communities
- Remain current on mobile technologies including Swift, Kotlin, and third-party libraries
- Mentor junior- to mid-level team members
- Engage with developers across Android, iOS, APIs, and web disciplines
- Lead delivery of major components and platform needs with senior engineers and architects
- Share best practices and improve processes across sprint teams
- Identify technical obstacles and develop creative solutions with the team
- Review pull requests for adherence to Swift and other language idioms
- Provide subject-matter-expert leadership while managing a team of mobile developers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 6 years of experience in software engineering; internship experience does not apply
- At least 4 years of people management experience
- At least 4 years of experience building iOS applications
- At least 3 years of experience with Swift
- Preferred: Master’s Degree
- Preferred: 7+ years of people management experience
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience building iOS applications
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with Swift
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Agile practices
- Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion
