About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
Translate business priorities while integrating Finance value propositions and strategies
Deliver solutions for Capital One’s Global Finance organization using Workday Financials modules
Deliver Workday solutions across General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments, and Suppliers
Communicate across teams, product owners, stakeholders, and business partners to influence solutions
Identify process-improvement opportunities and collaborate with Finance partners to redesign business processes
Research, test, and stay current on Workday technology and platform updates, fixes, and capabilities
Build and maintain documentation for system implementation and maintenance
Serve as the primary contact for business and technical questions about system operation
Provide production support by troubleshooting, testing, and resolving issues with the business

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 4 years of Workday platform engineering experience
At least 2 years of experience designing and developing end-to-end solutions within Workday
At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred: 5+ years working with Workday platform across Workday Finance modules
Preferred: 3+ years designing and developing integration solutions in Workday
Preferred: 3+ years working with APIs in Workday using REST or SOAP
Workday Pro Certifications preferred: Integration Developer and Financial Reporting
Preferred: 1+ years designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend
