About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Directly oversee and lead the execution of the enterprise crisis management process during live incidents and events
Drive rapid response, effective mitigation, and exercising sound judgment to escalate critical issues to senior leadership seamlessly
Cultivate high-impact relationships and facilitate seamless collaboration across the enterprise with internal partners and technology teams
Direct the development and maintenance of formal crisis processes and documentation
Ensure rigorous adherence to internal policies, standards, regulatory guidance, and industry best practices
Actively identify and implement innovative solutions to automate manual workflows
Hold a high bar for the holistic delivery of the crisis management lifecycle
Overseeing comprehensive planning efforts, robust training and exercise development, and rigorous post-incident reviews (AARs)
Ensure the development, governance, and delivery of a comprehensive, long-term strategy for the enterprise mass notification system
Leverage data, analytics, and operational metrics to provide clear, actionable reporting to senior leadership and executives regarding program health, incident trends, and risk mitigation efforts
Act as the foremost Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise crisis management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience leading a risk function in emergency or crisis management program or a combination of both
At least 7 years of experience in project, program, or process management
At least 7 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal and external business clients
At least 7 years of experience in executive-level consulting for strategy development
7+ years of experience in crisis management, business continuity, or a combination
5+ years of experience in financial services risk management
Possess CBCP, CEM, or CRISC certification
Experience with ISO 22301 principles
Proven experience in fast-paced environments
Experience leading cross-functional discussions across all seniority levels
Proficiency in controls development, risk management, and reporting activities
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in shifting priority environments
