About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage key cyber initiatives, which will include facilitating the development of new project and program requirements
Support communications needs of various cyber-specific functions, including the gathering of insights and data as well as the preparation of written reports and oral presentations
Drive the implementation of proper program management best practices, including the use of various governance mechanisms related to change management and other areas
Develop and coordinate internal processes and program governance maturation
Manage and organize key deliverables across various initiatives
Drive and coordinate work related to Capital One’s cybersecurity program enhancement efforts
Analyze information to proactively identify risks, trends, and process improvements
Continuously advise on the enhancement of risk and project / program management practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree
At least 4 years of experience in program management
At least 2 years of experience in information technology or cyber security
Master’s Degree in a related technical (Computer Science, Software Engineering) or Program Management field (preferred)
5+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing (preferred)
3+ years of experience delivering Cybersecurity solutions and capabilities (preferred)
3+ years of experience in building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture using AWS (preferred)
3+ years experience building highly scalable mobile products and platforms (preferred)
3+ years of experience with Agile delivery (preferred)
5+ years experience delivering large and complex programs owning the business or technical vision, collaborating with large cross-functional teams, securing commitments on deliverables, and unblocking teams to land business impact (preferred)
1+ year of experience building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment (preferred)
1+ year of experience working with emerging AI technologies (preferred)
