About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead all aspects of the executive search lifecycle: search/market intelligence strategy, sourcing & identification of top talent communities, candidate cultivation, client management, offer negotiations, and executive onboarding
  • Act as a trusted advisor and expert on trends within the market & industries
  • Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing strategies and drive proactive market research
  • Integrate primary research, internal data, secondary sources, and marketplace intelligence in analyses that drive business decisions
  • Manage client and candidate expectations, advising on best practices when engaging passive candidates
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
  • Stay current on the market landscape of emerging technology that is disrupting the talent acquisition lifecycle
  • Share the compelling vision of Capital One’s value proposition and mission to the external talent market.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 5 years of recruiting or research experience at a global in-house recruiting team, executive search firm, or a large multinational organization
  • 5+ years of experience advising and influencing executive leadership
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting tech OR product executive talent.
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present complex topics in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
  • Impeccable judgment and ability to balance the needs of the organization, leaders, and associates.
  • Proactive with a high level of initiative and ownership
  • Diligent listening skills and the ability to adapt approach among diverse audiences.
