About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One.
Manage and develop 1-2 analysts.
Coaching and mentoring associates with a goal of developing and retaining talent at Capital One.
Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products.
Lead product level modeling/analytics.
Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products.
Build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences.
Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior.
Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis.
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) OR A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration.
Preferred: 5+ years of experience in analysis.
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in financial services.
Preferred: 1+ year of experience in consulting.
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in people management.
