About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One.
- Manage and develop 1-2 analysts.
- Coaching and mentoring associates with a goal of developing and retaining talent at Capital One.
- Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products.
- Lead product level modeling/analytics.
- Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products.
- Build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences.
- Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior.
- Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) OR A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience in analysis.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in financial services.
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience in consulting.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in people management.
