About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support effective end-to-end payments oversight and risk management across Capital One
Partner with stakeholders to understand business use cases impacting payments
Influence and advise on risk mitigation strategies
Document and manage payments use case inventory
Perform enterprise risk assessments of new or modified payments use cases
Identify and remediate payments-related issues in partnership with Business Risk owners
Lead Monthly or Quarterly business reviews
Propose new controls, processes or approaches to mitigate risks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate's Degree or Military Experience
At least 2 years of experience in risk management, audit or governance
At least 2 years of banking or financial services experience
At least 2 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal and external stakeholders
At least 2 years of project management or process management experience
At least 1 year of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office
Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
At least 4 years of experience in risk management (Preferred)
At least 4 years of project management or process management experience (Preferred)
At least 1 year of data manipulation experience (Preferred)
At least 3 years of experience managing senior stakeholders (Preferred)
At least 2 years of experience working in payments (Preferred)
Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification or Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) certification (Preferred)
