Key responsibilities & impact

Lead moderate to large complex initiatives by providing direction to partners, peers, and direct reports
Lead a highly dynamic and cross-functional team
Understand customer expectations; current gaps & technical constraints; drive requirements and ultimately partner with the line of business and finance teams
Ensure effective performance and on-time delivery of all tasks
Develop and train associates, with possible coaching and mentoring throughout the Controller’s organization
Interact and communicate with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Multitask and prioritize diverse tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in accounting or audit or finance, or a combination
3+ years of banking or finance industry experience (preferred)
7+ years of experience in accounting or audit or finance, or a combination (preferred)
Data analysis experience (Tableau, Python, SQL or a combination) (preferred)
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and reconciliation system experience (preferred)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP), or Lean or Agile Certifications (Product Owner, or Agile Project Mgmt, or SAFe Scaled Agilist) (preferred)
