Lead business counsel for Capital One Shopping
Provide strategic, clear and contextualized legal advice on complex issues
Translate applicable laws, regulations, and legal requirements into actionable advice
Develop and maintain legal resources for products
Help design and implement legal department and compliance processes
Build relationships with business stakeholders
Work autonomously and collaboratively within the Legal Department

Requirements

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing of at least one state bar
At least 10 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm, in-house legal department, or government agency
At least 5 years of people leadership experience
12+ years of experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or government agency preferred
7+ years of people leadership experience preferred
Experience in affiliate marketing preferred
Experience advising technology or financial services companies on marketing, regulatory, or product development matters preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence others
