Key responsibilities & impact

Independently manage corporate real estate transactions – focusing on leasing, purchase and sale agreements, land use/zoning matters
Collaborate with teams supporting the Company’s Global Workplace Services (GWS) and Retail Bank
Identify and propose mitigation plans for legal and operational risks
Propose and implement process improvements for efficiencies
Build relationships with legal and business stakeholders
Manage and coordinate outside counsel when necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing of at least one state bar
At least 3 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm, at a government agency, as a military judge advocate or as in-house counsel
At least 3 years of experience with real property transactions (including both landlord and tenant side), or third party procurement, vendor or outsourcing transactions (including from the buy side)
