Key responsibilities & impact

Perform risk assessments of business activities and relevant testing based on the associated risks
Communicate issues, risks, and recommendations to all levels of management
Operate independently and ensure work is completed to schedule and meets quality standards
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners and the Audit group
Leverage data and analytical tools during audit delivery
Follow-up on audit actions to ensure commitments are met
Seek out learning opportunities to enhance skills and competencies related to role
Explore new technologies to progress various initiatives
Partner across audit teams to create tools and techniques for audit insights and data visualization
Drive analysis that provides meaningful insights and influences business practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 2 years of experience in auditing, accounting, financial analysis, risk management, compliance, or a combination
At least 1 year of experience performing data analytics or developing data solutions for internal audit
At least 1 year of experience using SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI), and AI
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or relevant certification preferred
2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or related fields preferred
1+ year of experience utilizing AI-assisted tools in support of internal audit preferred
