About the role
- Develop and deliver key risk management topics across senior risk executives through monthly and quarterly reporting
- Analyze on reporting outcomes to observe trends and provide insights on changes to the Company’s risk environments
- Lead and support efforts to develop and govern effective challenge methodology and non-regulatory requirements
- Support audits, exams, and assessments across Enterprise Risk Management
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and leaders across multiple organizations to achieve objectives
- Demonstrate problem-solving and analysis skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, problem solving and influencing skills across various levels of the organization
- Balance multiple priorities to help drive business value and support team objectives, while managing tasks and activities related to risk management initiatives in a well-managed capacity
- Stay current on the changing industry landscape and regulatory environment, and understand the impacts to Capital One
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of risk management or risk reporting experience
- At least 5 years of communications or program management experience
- At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients
- 3+ years of experience in reporting and analyzing data (preferred)
- 3+ years of drafting and presenting deliverables to high level leadership (preferred)
- 5+ years of financial services risk management experience (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience influencing partners, from risk managers to senior leaders (preferred)
- 6+ years of communications or program management experience (preferred)
