About the role
- Lead strategic external communications initiatives to advance the Discover Network’s reputation
- Manage high-impact programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Work with internal and external partners to deliver effective media relations, corporate storytelling and client services strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Stay informed about industry trends to inform and enhance communication strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- At least 8 years of communications experience
- 9+ years of experience in public relations or communications, the financial services or technology industries preferred
- 1+ years of experience working with global payment networks preferred
- Experience managing international communication strategies preferred
- Experience managing multiple simultaneous communication initiatives preferred
