About the role

  • Partner with product and tech leaders by leveraging a trusted advisor model to propel key business initiatives through integrated risk strategies
  • Develop a deep understanding of business strategies, products, services, and risk profile to inform emerging risks and mitigation priorities
  • Ensure independent escalation of risk management gaps, issues, and concerns, including emerging risks and regulatory focus areas
  • Consult on Risks across the first line of defense business partners providing advice and guidance as needed
  • Participate in ongoing risk assessments and processes criticality assessments
  • Manage multiple tasks independently to meet deadlines
  • Communicate complex ideas concisely and convincingly, adjust communication to the audience and comfortable with presenting to risk and digital platform leaders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Digital Product Technology, or External Audit, or a combination
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal and external business clients
  • At least 4 years of experience planning and leading IT audits or risk assessments
  • At least 7 yrs experience in Risk Management supporting platforms and tech products (Preferred)
  • At least 6 years of experience consulting with senior executives or strategy building (Preferred)
  • Risk Certifications (CRISC, CISM, CRCM, CIPP, ABA Risk Mgmt Certification) (Preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Financial Services industry (Preferred)
