About the role

  • Drive end-to-end payments oversight and risk management across Capital One.
  • Support solutions to remediate payments-related challenges while enhancing business practices.
  • Establish governance frameworks and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Conduct comprehensive monitoring activities to assess payment types health.
  • Deliver comprehensive reports on payment performance and risk posture.
  • Manage E2E payments use case inventory and demonstrate adherence to risk policy.
  • Engage in payments-related projects and process initiatives to support governance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in risk management, audit, or governance and oversight roles
  • At least 2 years experience in the banking or financial industry
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal and external stakeholders
  • At least 2 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience (preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience in risk management (preferred)
  • At least 3 years of project management experience leading cross functional projects and programs (preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience working in payments (preferred)
  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification or Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) certification (preferred)
