About the role

  • Ensure effective identification and implementation of controls to manage operational, financial, and compliance risks
  • Develop and implement job aids, tools, and processes to facilitate efficient execution of policies & procedures and risk & control identification
  • Execute control testing to ensure that controls are appropriately designed
  • Identify control or procedural gaps
  • Manage and analyze key risk metrics within the organization
  • Identify negative trends and support business partners in root cause analysis and action planning
  • Act as a liaison for assigned teams during regulatory exams, internal compliance reviews, and audits
  • Actively participate in team-oriented efforts while managing multiple tasks independently

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of Risk management experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in Project or process management (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in Risk Management (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in Presentation/Communication (preferred)
  • At least 1 year of experience in Change management (preferred)
