About the role
- help create the long term strategic vision and investment needs for Tech
- provide strong financial leadership and help integrate GPN Tech into Capital One
- develop repeatable processes, frameworks, and templates that help the team operate more efficiently
- define the interaction model and reporting cadences with partners to ensure our leaders stay fiscally well managed
- act as the work lead for 1-2 analysts on the team
- work in unstructured environments to build a multi-year financial plan that outlines the financial impacts of platform convergence and modernization for Tech
- deliver compelling insights to senior leaders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in financial analysis
- At least 5 years’ experience with financial modeling
- At least 4 years’ experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
- At least 4 years’ experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance (preferred)
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (preferred)
- 6+ years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function (preferred)
- 2+ years of people management experience managing direct or indirect reports (preferred)
