About the role
- Follow standard processes to coordinate the add, change and removal of client connections over an MPLS backbone network as well as Site to Site VPN connections.
- Support network wide updates and security enhancements.
- Respond to Network Operations escalations.
- Support audit requests and findings.
- Develop and maintain network drawings and documentation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 2 years of experience in Managing IT projects or operations teams
- At least 2 years Technical Operations experience
- At least 2 years of experience with IT systems and infrastructure
- At least 2 years experience with desktop platforms and operating systems
- At least 2 years of experience with incident management and reporting tools
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in MPLS data network engineering (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in data Network Operations on an MPLS network (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management (planning, executing, tracking) (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience with Cisco networking products (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience with PaloAlto firewalls (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience with Splunk (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience with Riverbed (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience with Wireshark (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience with Network Address Translations and Access Lists (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience with TCP/IP Protocol (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience with ISO-8583 protocol (preferred)
