About the role
- Influence the development of high-severity loss scenarios by collaborating closely with VP+ Senior Leadership.
- Drive consensus among diverse expert opinions and navigate competing objectives with stakeholders to ensure clarity.
- Leverage superior judgment, intuition, and strong relationships to defend and gain support for key decisions.
- Work across the multiple dimensions of operational risk programs, understanding their impact on various business units.
- Actively build and maintain relationships with key customers throughout the scenario analysis process to ensure valuable and actionable output.
- Analyze scenario results for consistency and soundness, ensuring the defensibility of results by triangulating them with supporting data, analysis, and analytics from internal and external sources.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
- At least 2 years of experience in Process Management, or At least 2 years of experience in Project Management
- At least 2 years of risk management experience in first, second, or third line of defense
- Business Process Management Certification or Six Sigma Certification, or Lean Certification
- Master's Degree in Business Management, Risk Management, Financial Analysis, Process Management, Project Management, Communications, Computer Science, or Information Systems (Preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in Process Management or 4+ years of experience in Project Management (Preferred)
- 4+ years of risk management experience in first, second, or third line of defense (Preferred)
- 3+ years of experience within financial services (Preferred)
- Proficiency with structuring executive-level decks and presentations (Preferred)
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Excel and Tableau (Preferred)
