About the role
- Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis and metrics to make strategic or tactical recommendations
- Develop problem frameworks, hypotheses, tests and analysis, scope operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts and develop monitoring plans
- Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability
- Package strategic and analytical insights into clear, concise and “executive-ready” presentations, influencing upwards and laterally to drive organizational change and alignment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
- At least 1 year of experience in analysis
- Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in market research (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in SQL querying (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in consulting (preferred)
